Hello, if you have only ever shot in digital then now is the time to try good ol fashoined film! Why? Because even a 40 year old camera can yield results that are just as good, if not better, than what ever digital camera you are using now. Dont be fooled into thinking that film is not as good as digital just because it is new and "hightech". A 35mm film camera is the equivalent to an 8 megapixal digital camera. A medium format camera (6x6, 6x7 watever) is the equivelent to a 24 megapixal digital camera. A 4x5 large format camera (the massive old fashoined looking box camera with a huge bellow for the lens) is the equivelent to a 100+ megapixal digital camera(of course these wont be available for a long long time). If you are serious about landscape photography then I strongly recomend you switch to large format. It is cheaper then digital and will yield far better results.
Film also seems to look better if you know what i mean. The subtle grain (only on 35mm format really) and the lovely highlights ect.
So when you next go to a camera shop go and buy the oldest looking film camera you can find. I garantee you will take some amazing shots some of which could be better than any shot you have taken with your £1000 nikon or canon

to put it simply.
